As a Line Cook, you’ll play a vital role in our kitchen by preparing high-quality food that keeps
our guests coming back. Key responsibilities include:
● Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls,
and presentation standards.
● Efficiency: Work quickly and accurately during high-volume service, especially during
game days and peak hours.
● Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
throughout your shift.
● Teamwork: Communicate and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and
efficient service.
● Sanitation: Follow food safety guidelines, proper storage practices, and cleaning
protocols to meet health and safety standards.
● Quality Control: Consistently monitor food quality and presentation to ensure every
dish meets our standards.
● Inventory Support: Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and minimizing food
waste.
● Adaptability: Assist in other kitchen duties as needed, including prep work,
dishwashing, or opening/closing tasks.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
● Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
● Ability to follow recipes and instructions with precision.
● Comfortable working in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
● Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Culinary training or certifications are a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
● Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Award winning Chef Luigi Cavallaro was born and raised in Bolzano, Italy. Chef's mission is to present real authentic Italian food in a classic Italian Family atmosphere.
Trattoria Pasquale began operations in 2012 in the beautiful South Tampa area. In 2017 we became Luigi's Kitchen, Inc. but we still retain the name Trattoria Pasquale, named after Luigi’s father, Pasquale Cavallaro (1923-2003). We are grateful that we have been able to delight and satisfy the culinary desires of thousands of customers, local and tourist alike.
Every year, Chef Luigi and Kim head to Italy to visit family and set out in search of new authentic dishes. On our return, our menu changes to incorporate the best of our discoveries. Bringing real Italian food - using old-world family recipes and new found recipes straight from Italy. Ingredients are always fresh - nothing but the best.
